Turner Contemporary Director Victoria Pomery OBE has received an honorary Master of Arts from UCA Canterbury during a ceremony held on 24th June 2013. Victoria received her honorary degree alongside craft historian Dr Tanya Harrod and internationally-renowned fashion designer Margaret Howell CBE. 
UCA Vice-Chancellor, Simon Ofield-Kerr, said: “I am delighted to be honouring three such talented and dedicated individuals during this year’s graduation ceremonies. 
“All three women have an impressive track record in pushing creative and intellectual boundaries. They will act as a real inspiration to the students graduating this year.”
Victoria said “I am delighted to have been awarded an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University for the Creative Arts and to be accepting this award alongside the university’s promising 2013 graduates. I feel hugely honoured to have been recognised in this way for my contribution to the visual arts.  As Director of Turner Contemporary we work closely with UCA and I look forward to continuing this involvement.”
