Following the success of Turner Contemporary’s inaugural Business Circle in Summer 2016, Turner Contemporary is inviting a select group of Kent businesses to come together to support our Summer 2017 season.

Q: What is Turner Contemporary's Business Circle?

A: Our Business Circle kicked off last Summer as a way for selected Kent businesses to join together and get all the benefits of sponsoring a major exhibition season at Turner Contemporary (at a fraction of the cost of a full sponsorship) whilst also enjoying networking by working alongside the other Business Circle members.

Q: Who are the other Business Circle members?

A: Boys & Maughan Solicitors, McCabe Ford Williams and Miles & Barr were the three members last summer and they are all keen to be part of the Business Circle again this year. We are now looking to grow the Circle...

Reflecting on last year's business circle, Karen Gray, Marketing Manager at McCabe Ford Williams says:

"The Business Circle was created to get local Thanet business together to network and take advantage of business opportunities whilst also supporting the summer exhibition at Turner Contemporary. The first year opened up a different way of networking than we have had to date. Still in its early days it is hoped that more liked minded Business Circle members will join so that this new initiative can reach its full potential."

Q: What's in it for my Kent based business?

A: The Business Circle offers an opportunity to network and build closer relationships with Kent businesses whilst benefitting from the marketing and promotion side of supporting Turner Contemporary’s summer season. You will be invited to key events, including a networking breakfast and the exhibition preview. You will also have the opportunity for your employees to participate in a unique professional development session. Your logos will appear on exhibition leaflets with a print run of 70,000 distributed across Kent and London, you will receive a credit featured on our Honours Board at the gallery entrance for 1 year, your logo will also be featured on our website plus live links to your website from and you will benefit from cross promotion on social media.

Q: Tell me more about what our clients and colleagues can see at Turner Contemporary this summer...

A: This summer we're celebrating the capacity of the arts to pioneer change, challenge perceptions and embolden society. You can see works by Phyllida Barlow (who will also be representing Britain at the Venice Biennale), Michael Armitage and JMW Turner shown alongside teachers and pupils from Kent, Medway and Kenya. At the same time, 80 primary school children will transform neglected sites in Margate this July as part of Turner Contemporary's most ambitious learning programme to date. You'll be part of a transformative programme, with internationally renowned artists and a number of never before seen works. Read more here

Q: What is the contribution required and how do I join?

A: Email or call 01843 233017 if you're interested in receiving more information about this unique opportunity.
