Take part in Lacrymose, a major new choral performance at Turner Contemporary.
2014 is the centenary of the beginning of the First World War. Commemoration and experimentation, Lachrymose is a vocal response to the conflicting emotional landscape of remembrance with a particular focus on the WW1 roll-call associated with the Margate War Memorial at Trinity Hill. You can be a part of the commemoration by taking part in these workshops, which culminate in performances on Saturday 23 November 2013.
Participating singers do not need to be able to read music but will need to make a commitment to the project, including attending every rehearsal session and practicing outside rehearsals.
Participants must be available on the following dates:
2/3 November, 10.30am to 6.00pm
9/10 November, 10.30am to 6.00pm
16/17 November, 10.30am to 6.00pm

23 November, 10.30am to 6.00pm
