Turner Contemporary has been shortlisted for Destination East Kent in the Culture Awards for East Kent.

This is a fantastic accomplishment for the gallery, which opened 3 years ago in April 2011 and has so far welcomed 1.2 million visits and contributed over £30 million into the local economy through tourism and inward investment.

The winner will be announced on 12 June 2014 at an awards ceremony.
