Turner Contemporary is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to provide day to day support for the Director and manage the Administrative Officer.
Following seven successful years of operation, this is an exciting moment to join the organisation and play a critical role in supporting the development of Turner Contemporary. In addition, you will provide support for members of the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) and work closely with the Chair and Board of Trustees. You will oversee board and sub-committee meetings ensuring that accurate papers and agendas are delivered on time and that minutes are taken for all meetings.
To excel in this role, you will have outstanding attention to detail, excellent administrative and communication skills as well as being quick and curious to learn about the environment that Turner Contemporary operates in. You will be a creative problem solver with the ability to find solutions to challenges. Working in a fast paced and dynamic office, you will be proactive and confident about dealing with a range of people, internally and externally. Professionalism is key and the ability to take initiative, remain calm, focused and empathetic whilst working under pressure is essential.
