University for the Creative Arts has developed an exciting new MA Curatorial Practice course in partnership with Turner Contemporary, which offers the opportunity for thinking and engaging with art and issues of cultural regeneration through curatorial activity.
With a shared focus on experimental practice and vocational engagement, the course is open to curators, artists, historians, designers, architects and graduates in the humanities and has been designed to foster new and innovative approaches to curation at an advanced level. What the MA students say:
"UCA's MA Curatorial Practice has not only enhanced my knowledge around the theoretical concerns of Curating, but their incredible partnership with Turner Contemporary has given me a chance to engage directly with professional curatorial activity through live projects."
"The course embeds your ideas and practice in the real world. There's a great emphasis on engagement and the link with Turner Contemporary and other local arts organisations has been invaluable."
