Turner Contemporary

Looking for activities to entertain the whole family this summer? Check out some of the things we have going on in the gallery in the next couple of months, from creative workshops to treating yourself to a cake!

1) Explore inside the gallery
Stand in awe beside Phyllida Barlow’s giant sculptures. Need some guidance on how to get kids and groups interacting with the artworks? Check out our teacher’s resource for ideas. Entry to our exhibitions is free.

2) Explore outside the gallery
Jyll Bradley’s Dutch/Light (for Agneta Block) is on our terrace from 12 August. Walk under it and be bathed in colour. As the tide rises, watch Antony Gormley’s Another Time from the promenade as it becomes submerged under the sea.

3) Discover the stories behind the artworks on a free Highlights Tour
Join one of our Gallery Assistants who will introduce you to some of their favourite artworks featured in Every Day is a New Day. Free Tours are daily and start at 2.30pm at the main desk.
