This exhibition, “A Place That Exists Only in Moonlight” presents some alternative and interesting ways of looking at events including space and time. JMW Turner and Katie Paterson’s work displayed together compliment one another’s works as Turner presents a more traditional, yet beautiful way of looking at events and presenting them where as Paterson try’s to Present and influence them.
One of the pieces especially stood out to me that being a Necklace made of fossilized objects and rocks; this was a creative strong point for Paterson as it presents time of objects in a form of fashion.
You can really see the likeness of these two artists throughout the exhibition as their works are shown throughout the exhibition together and remain relevant. Overall I really would advise this experience to anyone willing to go into it with an open mind and you will enjoy it thoroughly.
