    The first UK exhibition to explore how artists have responded to the phenomenon of the circle, the disc or the sphere. The majority of works in the exhibition are from the 20th century onwards, including Barry Flanagan, Anish Kapoor, Barbara Hepworth, Paul Nash, David Batchelor and Richard Long.

  • JMW Turner: Adventures in Colour

    Turner and Colour is the first exhibition to examine this fundamental theme in relation to Turner, exploring the familiar outline of his life and art in a new way.

From 27 September until 7 October 2016 we are installing our autumn exhibition JMW Turner: Adventures in Colour and all our upper gallery spaces will be closed. You can still see Yinka Shonibare MBE:End of Empire in our Sunley Gallery. The shop and cafe also remain open.

We look forward to welcoming you to our autumn 2016 exhibition, which opens on Saturday 8 October, 10am.
