Artist Chris Daniels is attempting to make Britain’s longest hand-painted film called Unravel. Help him by painting your own pictures onto film at this fun workshop.

Unravel is an epic project to create a hand painted film that spans 874 miles – the distance between John O'Groats and Land's End - with each metre from the North to South of mainland Britain to equal one frame of 16mm film.

In collaboration with over thirty film festivals, educational institutions and community spaces across England, Scotland and Wales, Daniels is operating a touring workshop that aims to amass an epic sixteen hour film that will be created and manipulated by hand by a range of people.

Formed by Maria Anastassiou and Chris Paul Daniels whilst studying at the Royal College of Art, Unravel is also comprised of OKO Lab of Leeds (Mark Pickles and Jo Byrne) and, Manchester based artist Kelvin Brown.

This half-term workshop is also taking place on 21 February.
