At Turner Contemporary,we aim to give teachers lots of ways to help inform, inspire and aid teaching within a gallery setting.

Take a look at some of the things we offer...

Learn alongside your students and share ideas with other schools.

This training comprises two days in the gallery, where teachers with small groups of students learn how to lead dynamic group discussions.

On the first day in the gallery explore our Object Dialogue Box and philosophical approach. Then develop project work back in the classroom, returning with a larger group on your second visit.

Those students who have trained with their teachers will have the opportunity to lead their own groups in the gallery. Support for your classroom work includes online resources, video conference opportunities with gallery experts and a half-day session in the Turner Contemporary Clore Learning Studio.

£375 per school for two full school days. Dates can be booked on request at Learn@turnercontemporary.org or by calling 01843 233012.
