The Foyle Rooms
Located on the ground floor adjacent to our Sunley Gallery, the Foyle Rooms is a flexible space that can host events of up to 120 people seated theatre style and 150 people with a mixture of seating and standing.

As a dedicated event space, the Foyle Rooms is ideal for corporate and private events such as conferences, meetings, presentations, training days, staff away days, award ceremonies, as well as private celebrations, birthday parties, and is a truly spectacular place to get married. With endless sea views, the room captures Margate’s famous sunsets and evokes a calm, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, whatever the event. It even has its own private terrace for your guests to enjoy.

The room can be hired whole, or for smaller events can be split into three subdivisions– this means that you don’t have to hire different venues for invigorating meetings or training, we can tailor the space to suit you.

State-of-the-art facilities

Whatever your event requires, the Foyle Rooms has superb state-of-the-art facilities, including an IT/AV suite with free Wi-Fi, high-tech full wall projection, integrated sound system with wireless and wired microphones offering full room speaker coverage, an HD Sat/DVD and CD player, fully adjustable lighting, induction loop, as well as video conferencing, live streaming and dedicated event furniture, chosen especially by architect David Chipperfield.

The Foyle Rooms also has fantastic acoustics for music, with specially fitted sound-enhancing walls and curtain.
