Turner Contemporary is the South East’s newest and most spectacular venue for hire. Its coastal location and striking building, designed by award-winning architect David Chipperfield, offers a truly unique and inspiring setting for all corporate and private events, weddings (see our downloadable wedding brochure), parties and more.

Located in the historic seaside town of Margate, the gallery overlooks the North Kent coast, and the same beautiful skies that Britain’s best-loved painter JMW Turner described as ‘… the loveliest in all Europe’. Combine the breath-taking views and exquisite architecture with our exceptional, bespoke service and Turner Contemporary offers you a versatile, stylish and modern venue for your event.

Since opening in April 2011, Turner Contemporary has already hosted major national and local events, including Her Majesty the Queen’s royal visit to Margate last November. 

Not only will guests have an unforgettable experience, but as a registered charity, all revenue will help us sustain and grow our programme of exhibitions, education and events.
