Generate is an artist-led project that explores and promotes the creative exchange between
generations, through art making activities.

The 2010 Generate exhibition focussed on the way that artists and children are influenced by the built environment.

Responding to the architecture of our new gallery and the broader urban landscape, the exhibition included a wide range of artworks from drawing and painting to textiles, film, sculpture, books and installation.

Children's Laureate Anthony Browne opened the exhibition. Hear interviews with Keiko Higashi, Project Manager, and Anthony Browne on our Audioboo page or read reviews of the exhibition on our blog.

Generate is a dynamic artist-led project which explores and promotes creative exchange between generations. Working closely with Turner Contemporary, Generate are investigating how their artistic practice as adults can be influenced through the creativity of their children.
