Turner Contemporary organises a programme of temporary exhibitions of historical and contemporary art from 1750 to the present, organised into three seasonal exhibition slots per year.

Our public programme, Encounter, offers a wide range of performances, talks, courses and other events that make links with the exhibitions in the galleries and are often inspired by themes in the exhibitions programme. The Encounter programme is aimed at diverse audiences and events are generally scheduled one year in advance.

Most exhibitions and commissions result from direct invitations to artists. We do accept submissions from individuals or organisations. If you would like to submit a proposal, please complete the Programme Proposals Form below and send it to the Exhibitions Team at exhibitions@turnercontemporary.org or post to Turner Contemporary, Rendezvous, Margate CT9 1HG.

Please include an SAE if you would like your material returned. Please do not send any original material or anything that you need returned to you within one month. All proposals will be reviewed by the exhibitions team, but due to the high volume of material we receive, we cannot guarantee an immediate response.
